About Us: Apple Butter Treats was created out of a love for horses with the
specific intention of helping horse rescue, retirement, and re-homing organizations.
We provide the best possible product for our equine friends, ensuring that they are
made with the same standards and quality as food products made for humans.

Shipping: Items are shipped from Georgia within 2-3 days of receiving order.
Sample packs are shipped via First Class Mail and all other orders are shipped via
Priority Mail. You will receive an email with the shipment date for your order. We do
not ship out of the continental United States.  Please contact us if you need faster

All Natural: The USDA says “natural” means the product can not contain artificial flavors, chemical
preservatives, or artificial or synthetic ingredients. BUT, this only refers to meat/poultry products for human
consumption. As for pet and livestock food products, there are similar definitions by AAFCO for "natural", but
they are not much more than guidelines; there really is no regulation on the use of the term. Apple Butter Treats
follows the USDA definition.
 
Eco Friendly Packaging: Plastic containers and sampler packaging are made from corn, are 100%
compostable and made carbon zero, as well as FDA approved for direct food contact. Product labels, shipping
boxes and packaging are made from recycled materials and/or in eco-friendly plants.
 
Our Program: Only participating horse welfare organizations are eligible to receive a portion of our profits.
When checking out, please make sure to indicate the horse rescue organization that you support. This will
